Out In The World

The two weeks of my book tour in Ontario were — very full. Full of books, book talk, book optimism, book gloom, boxes of books, book sales, book pricing, bookstores, book reviews, book publishers, book editors, book publicists, book designers, the future of the book. . . . Cities familiar and unknown. People ditto. Wonderful meals and social times. And much train travel, a delight.
The tour ended on a very high note with the appearance in the Globe online of Linda Grace Philippsen’s review of The English Stories. Then, on my return to Vancouver, Candace Fertile’s fine review in the Sun greeted me. Both are on this site now. You can also see them and other posts related to The English Stories at http://biblioasis.blogspot.com/
Speaking of reviews, if you have enjoyed The English Stories you could write a comment about the book on Amazon. Here’s the link:

Now it’s back to the desk, to do some actual writing of my own!
A la prochaine. . . .
